Be BORN Again…???
One of my friend asked me, “Chris, Do you know about the most excited Passover Story ever have in the Bible..?”
I laughed, “Hey, Jeff…what are you talking about?” I know all thing he could makes jokes.
“We all know Passover is the story about the Children of Israel that brought by the Lord out from Egypt to Promise Land through the leadership of Moses. That a midnight LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt and there was a great cry in Egypt for there was not a house where there was not one dead! All the firstborn died from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn ot the captive that was in the dungeon.”
“Yep, you right Jeff…and why you asked me again..?”
“Haha.., cause someone told me this morning…The most excited Passover Story happened at Jews’ Passover in Jerusalem when Lord Jesus found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting. He had made a scourge of small cords, He drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers’ money, and overthrew the tables and said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father’s house an house of merchandise! Can you imagine, Chris…how really excited at that time?”
“Hmmm, Lord Jesus with His magic Whip ?! Maybe many people that do not know Him and believe in Him said ‘Uuuhhh, He is so brave and extreme!’ Cause when the Jews said unto him, “What sign shew You unto us, seeing that You does these things?” He answered them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” wow…made the Jews shocked and said, “Forty and six years was this temple in building, and You will rear it up in three days?”
But many believed in His name, when they saw the miracles which He did in Jerusalem. One of them is Nicodemus, a man of the Pharisees, a ruler of the Jews. He came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God cause for no man can do these miracles that You does, except God be with him.”
Jesus could see Nicodemus is a humble man and true hearted. As a ruler of the Jews he knew the law which Moses set before the children of Israel as well but he wants to come to Jesus to learn something new and fresh from God The Father.
Jesus answered him and give him a key to come into the gate of Heaven, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
This made Nicodemus really surprised, “Hah.., How can a man be born when he is old like me? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?”
Jesus answered him again, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto you, You must be born again.”
Lord Jesus said if we want to see and come to the Kingdom of God we must be born again, ooo…how we could..? cause The Kingdom of God is a Spirit Kingdom not by flesh.
He gave us a simple way, he said, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” - Revelation 3:20
Since He died for our sins, rose again on the third day, has ascended up into heaven, sent Holy spirit to dwell in our heart n life…He always stand at our heart door, knock it time to time and if we heard His voice and open the door, He will come into our heart and will sup with us and we with Him.
This made me remember when I was a child in the Sunday School, my teacher taught me and all my friends to sing a nice song:
“Into my heart…into my heart…come into my heart, Lord Jesus…come in today…come in to stay…come into my heart…Lord Jesus”
And I knew all my life always in His hand! He loves me, protect me and bless me, He always with me and I with Him :o)
I ever asked Him, “What’s the meaning You will sup with us and we with You, Lord?”
He answered me, “Everyday you will sup ‘the words of God’ with Me!”
“Yep, that is right cause we shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceed out of the mouth of God.”
And the words of God said that we might sanctify and cleanse with the washing of water by the word.
We need The words of Gods to sanctify and cleanse our life (our heart, mind, mouth, motivation, ect) cause we still live in the dirty world after we received Him as our Saviour and Lord. The lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life will trap all the children of God The Father all the time and the evil still offering the same thing that he offered to Eve dan Jesus:
Matthew 4:8-10: Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, “All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.” Then saith Jesus unto him, “Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.”
Again Lord Jesus gave us a key to out of this temptations:
Matthew 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
He has given the promise of ‘Be Born Again” to His Prophets Jeremiah and Ezekiel (Jer 31:32-34, Eze 36:22-36), he said unto them:
Jeremiah 31:32-34: Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
How to put and write His law in our hearts? Only one way…gives His Holy Spirit dwell in all of us and make us ‘Be Born Again’ not by flesh but by Spirit! And this is ‘A New Covenant’ Era where we lived now!
Something Happened:
In the middle of November 2007 when I was in the office somebody called me and asked me if I could go directly to her house cause her daughter…a nice young girl has two times committed to suicide. This nice young girl will be marry on December 2007 suddenly her fiance don’t want her anymore and left her with a baby in her womb. She so stressed and it made her lost the baby in the bathroom. Need 2 hours to arrived there because I am worked in the west and they are live in the south of the city.
I arrived there around 18.00 pm, the girl looks very depressed and cried out loud…I prayed in my heart, “Ohh, my Lord Jesus…help us ..give usYour way!”
She sob …“Cici Mei.., I don’t want to live anymore!”
“Why..?”
“I can’t live without him…why he was so cruel to me? He knows I really love him!”
I hold her arms and looked at her eyes…
“I wonder if you love him…maybe you don’t know how to love yourself too…and honestly you can live without him but you can’t live without met of all your desire over much in your heart and mind like love, care and everything you want he does that he can’t does it anymore.”
This made her startled and begin upset, “Why cici Mei talk like that? I only want he loves me like I do!”
“You love him so much…it’s okay…it’s your choice but in our life we can’t force someone to love us like we want…it’s his choice! One thing that we can do is…as we would like that people should do to us, do we also to them likewise, that’s is all!”
“But he knows that we will have a baby, cici Mei!” she still cried!
“Okay, now we talk to the point…you think you love him so much and you gave all your body, mind and heart 100% to him and he is only a human being made by blood and flesh…that could be change someday and when he’s gone…you feel all your life gone with him! Where is your happy life before you met him? Hey, baby…you have your own life that God has given to you…don’t put it all to somebody ..I bet…you will always disappointed cause he is only a human! Put it in your Creator’s hand and heart and you will never regret for anything!”
“Now I really sad, can’t think anything and I feel very sick inside out…I lost him…and I lost my baby too…cici Mei… I don’t want to live…uhuuuukkkkuhhhuuuukkkk!”
“Okay baby, you want to die…it’s okay…but before you do that…think about this once again…it’s too late for you to do that …cause Lord Jesus has done it for you since 2000 more years ago! Don’t covering a sin with another bigger sin…you will lost forever!”
“But how can I live without my virginity, no man can accept me anymore!”
Ooops, that is the point!
I cried in my heart, “Oooh my Lord, help me..help us…how to speak to her!” and suddenly He reminds me to speak about ‘Be Born Again!”
“Virginity is a very special gift from God the Father for all women in this world and you lost it before you realized it’s very special for you to give it only for your husband someday…you can’t took it back…the sign is in your body now but Lord Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you: go, and sin no more.” So don’t judge yourself very hard…you could still have your virginity in your heart and mind, just return to Lord Jesus, willing to turn from sin and need His forgiveness, let His Holy Blood cleanses all your sin and healing all your pain in your body, heart and mind and you will feel like be born again..like a baby…holy and have no the past…and the important thing you believe it by faith…when He forgives you, now you become a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new and the bible said …
“He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.” - Micah 7:19
And He puts a big sign board on that place “NO FISHING!” so don’t return to that place and try to fishing there!
“But how is the baby..? I really feel sorry for him..!”
“I really believe he is in the hand of Jesus…his Creator, someday you will meet him! Let’s pray together…Ask Lord Jesus to forgive your sin and your ex-fiance and you need to forgive him too…bless him…and the love, peace and joy from the Lord will fulfill you, cleanse you inside out…and of course someday you will help many women in this world to find a way in Jesus Christ for the same problem that you ever have today and got healing!”
We start pray, praise and worship The Lord…” He touch me all my life…and bring peace in my heart…and I know all have changed now …He touch me and renewed my life!”
Something happened, Lord Jesus totally healed her, renewed her life and made her happy again and she serves the Lord till now! :o)
PS: On January 2008 Lord Jesus united her with her soulmate from Him that really loves and cares her, they married on June 2008 and they will have a baby boy on May 2009 and doctor said a baby maybe will be born on the same day with my B’day…ooopsss! Maybe ..they will give him a name ‘Christian’ I hope so… :o) Praise the Lord!
