Spiritual Growth (1)
When I was a little kid aged 3, cute and fun…everytime I needed something I could asked my mother, “Mama.., Chris hungry and want to eat, mama…Chris thirsty and want to drink, mama…Chris tired and want to sleep.” …etc. And my mama with grateful heart did all that I need, took the meal and drink for Chris or hold Chris in her arms and took me to the bed.
But the age of 30 if Chris still ask the same to mama, think about what her reaction..? At this time she will says, “Ooppss, Chris…I think you need a doctor now, babe!” 
This is the same with our Spiritual Growth. Apostle Paul said, “For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe” Hebrews 5:12.-13.
Spiritual babe always needs milk for growth but after a certain period they didn’t need only milk but strong meat. At the beginning of their repentance they continually taught about the word of truth in a certain time they would grow to become a teacher.
The Apostle Paul gives characteristics spiritual baby as: “There is among you envying, and strife, and divisions the body of Christ into Groups” (1Corrinthians 3:2-8).
SPIRITUAL FOOD
The Apostle Peter gives us an advice, “How our spiritual man can grow and get salvation?” There is no other way, “As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby.” (1 Peter 2:2).
A spiritual babe needs the sincere milk of the God’s word as a newborn babe needs the sincere milk to grow. We need the pure God’s Word for our spiritual growth, it’s not analysis or interpretation by human.
SPIRITUAL GROWTH PATTERN
The Lord Jesus gives the spiritual growth pattern with the parable of the sower, the seed and the land. – Mark 4:1-25
The Lord –> as A Sower
The Seed –> as The Words of God
The Land –> as Human heart
There are Four types of land or human heart that sowing by the words of God:
1. The land of the way side
2. The land of stony ground
3. The land among thorns
4. The land of good ground
THE LAND OF THE WAY SIDE
People (Christian) who hears the words of God but before the words planted in his/her heart the devil comes and steal it, so the words had no time to grow in his/ heart and bear fruit.
Chris had experienced thing like this, came to the church and the pastor preached too slow made Chris really dozy. When returned from the church a friend asked in McD, “ Chris, today what’s the words of God that preaching by Pastor?”
Chris could only smile (shame in heart) and said, “It’s really good…ehhmmm.., about Sower, Seed and Land…” And quickly finish the lunch for fear he asked the detail…lol.
So, went to the church only for dozy and when return home didn’t bring a spiritual blessing! Ooopss!
THE LAND OF STONY GROUND
People (Christian) who hears the words of God and when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness. And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution arise for the word’s sake, immediately they are offended
Chris had experienced thing like this too. When Chris almost graduate from High School and have plan to going to University in Capital City, one of my good friend that went to Theologia School a year before asked me ‘How we become Best Friend now?.” And Chris said, “Okay!” cause both of us love the Lord and put our future in His hand. But before the good relationship continues, his Pastor said, “No…no…you can’t have relationship with a girl that will be going to Capital City to go in Management School for 5 years, you need a wife soonest from this Theologia School cause you will be send to Hinterlands.” And 3 months later after I said “ Okay” he married the choosen girl. Only need 5 minutes to cry that time but 4 years to recovery the feeling cause I ever told him “Okay”…lol
Disappointed with the church..? disappointed with the leaders and their system..? maybe!
Praise the Lord.., Chris only left that church with their system but never left The Lord, His Love is more than enough for Chris.
After 5 years he came with tears and said, “I had lost the best thing in my life…Iam really sorry! Since that time I always pray for you for all good things happen in your life…and I will pray for you everyday for all my life, I promise! That’s all that I could do for you…Iam really sorry!” Ooopss, sound really nice 
But my Jesus said, “ My dearest little girl, do you ever feel lost in the crowd? Others may try to soothe you, but I am the only one who can lift you up and meet your need.” And that’s true! His promise is “Yezzz and Amen!”
THE LAND AMONG THORNS
People (Christian) who hears the words of God And the cares of this world, and the deceit fulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it become unfruitful.
In this difficult times when the global financial crisis over the world, This is a good test for all those Christians, are they heart always trust in Lord’s keeping and protection or try different ways to find the solution offered by the world and forget the ways of God.
A few years ago, a young man, he is Christian and know many of God’s words got mad when he lost too much money in online casino. Behind the scenes he plans to robbed his rich uncle’s house. He hires a driver to do all this. When they came to that house only 2 young home maid inside and one just came out from the bathroom with towel wrapped up her body, looks beautiful and sexy. They outrage them before kill them very cruel and robbed almost all money and jewellery inside the house.
A security of a neighborhood found one of the girl that try to creeps to the gate of the house. Before her last breathe she could testimony who is were coming inside. And that night the polices catched this young man and he must pay all has he done with all his life as prisoner in prison.
Why, he didn’t come to his rich uncle and asked help..why he didn’t remember that he has The Lord as his “Source of Blessing” just need to comes out from the habit to gambling and comes to Him. Why…ooohhh Why..? The price he must pays now is very…very expensive…his life, only God can help him.
THE LAND OF GOOD GROUND
And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.
Wow, Chris really want helped by Holy Spirit to have a heart like good ground and could bring forth fruit in this life for glorify God The Father’ name, how about you..all my friends?
When Lord Jesus gave this parable, there are many people and disciples gathered with Him. After He talked the parable, Lord Jesus said, “He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
And then many of people that understand or not about this parable left Him alone with His disciples.
And the Bible said, “And when He was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable.”
And he said unto them, “Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.”
Why Lord Jesus did like this..? Sound unfair..?
Because He would like to educate all those who followed Him not such as followers but become disciples.
What’s the different between Followers and Disciples? As the followers, undertand or do not understand the word of God they didn’t have interest to ask the Lord or Holy Spirit but as the disciples they always ask their Teacher everything that they didn’t understand so everytime they come to the Lord and ask something they shall be know and understand more about the words of God . They shall know the truth and the truth shall make them free! – John 8:32.
So everytime Lord Jesus talked about a parable He always said, “He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.” It’s means “If you don’t understand the words just ask and I will explain it to you.”
